If you have $9+ million to spare, or several thousand dollars for a private jet charter, Bombardier Learjet 40 XR is one of the light to mid-size business jet category favorites.
The jet can carry up to 7 passenger, has a high-speed of 535 mph (860 km/h) and a maximum range of 3,191 km. The Learjet 40 XR cabin is twenty percent larger than that of any other light business jet.
The first Learjet 40 protorype first began flying in 2002. Learjet 40 XR is an upgraded version, introduced in 2004.
